No Restrictions on Communication Channels

Openly.work’s terms of use do not impose any restrictions on the communication channels you use. Clients and freelancers can connect freely, using any preferred tools or platforms. This open policy promotes long-term relationships between clients and freelancers, allowing collaboration outside openly.work if desired.

Creating a Job on Openly.work

To post a new job, follow these steps:

Log In: After logging in, go to the main menu and select "Client Dashboard."
Create a Job: From the dashboard, click the "Create Job" option at the top.

Important Form Fields

Max Budget: The maximum amount you are willing to pay for the job. Note that this budget is an upper limit, and the freelancer may charge an amount up to this figure upon completing the work.
Quality Assurance: Set the number of evaluation days you need to evaluate the freelancer's work. The evaluation period begins when the freelancer submits their work.
Description: Clearly state your expectations, including any preferred communication tools. This helps ensure smooth project execution and alignment between you and the freelancer.

Setting Up Escrow Payment

Once the job form is complete, you will be directed to make an escrow payment to secure the project.

Sharing the "Start Job" Link

After payment, a unique "Start Job" link will be generated. Share this link with your chosen freelancer to initiate the project. The link can be sent to anyone online, even if they are not registered on openly.work.

Once the freelancer opens the link and accepts the job, the contract starts immediately, allowing clients to engage with any freelancer seamlessly.
